NFL free agency unofficially opened at noon on Monday with the beginning of the "legal tampering" period, which will run through 3:59 p.m. on Wednesday. During this negotiating window, free agents are allowed to agree to terms on contracts with other clubs but cannot sign those deals until after the new league year begins at 4 p.m. Wednesday.
