THE SKINNY:

This offseason was solid for the Colts' wide receiver group, which added an abundance of quality depth through both free agency and the draft, and will leave head coach Frank Reich with plenty of tough decisions to make by the time Week 1 of the regular season rolls around.

While the always-dependable T.Y. Hilton returns for his eighth season in Indy in 2019, how will the rest of the spots at wideout shake out? The newcomers are free agent pickup Devin Funchess, a big target at 6 foot 4, 225 pounds who had 21 touchdowns in four seasons with the Carolina Panthers, and second-round pick Parris Campbell, whose blazing 4.31 40-yard dash speed makes him a threat to score from anywhere on the field.

Among those returning who made big plays for the Colts last season are Chester Rogers, Zach Pascal and Marcus Johnson, while Deon Cain looks to get back to turning heads after missing his entire rookie season with a knee injury.

But will guys like Daurice Fountain, Steve Ishmael or Krishawn Hogan also make enough noise in camp and the preseason to earn a spot?
