What is the Madden NFL Youth Championship?

Youth engagement initiative focused on driving Madden participation in middle and high schools across the country through a variety of gaming competitions. Students will compete on their varsity esports team in our scholastic division and/or individually in short form tournaments under the independent division – short forms tournaments culminating in a national championship that takes place before the Pro Bowl Games and at NFL Draft each year.

What is the age of participants?

Middle and high school students will be between the ages of 13 and 18.

When do competitions take place?

The scholastic competition will take place across two season, Fall and Spring. Students on their varsity esports team will compete across a 14 week season (2 preseason weeks, 8 regular season weeks and 4 post-season). Additionally, all students will have access to compete across four (4) tournaments taking place in October, November, Feb, and March.

How do players register?

Players will register via a Madden NFL Youth Championship website.

Do students from participating schools need to be on their esports team to participate?

Yes, for the scholastic division students participating as part of their school program will be on the esports team.

Are the virtual Tournaments taking place bi-monthly open to students from all schools?

Yes, these virtual tournaments will be open to all student age 13-18 nationwide.
