Waived by Indianapolis on August 27, 2024.
Selected by the Colts in the fifth round (159th overall) of the 2022 NFL Draft.

Played in 14 games and recorded 15 tackles (six solo), 1.0 tackle for loss and 1.0 sack.

COLLEGE:

Appeared in 55 games (47 starts) at Missouri State (2016-21) and compiled 131 tackles (56 solo), 19.5 tackles for loss, 6.5 sacks, two passes defensed, two forced fumbles, three fumble recoveries, two blocked field goals and two blocked extra points. Played in a school-record 55 consecutive games as a five-year starter.

Attended Plainfield South (Ill.) High School.
Compiled 29.0 tackles for loss and 17.0 sacks for the Cougars en route to earning his second straight all-conference recognition in 2015.
Successful wrestler, who finished second at the 2015 IHSA Class 3A state tournament and carried the top ranking in his weight class into his senior year.

Participated in the NFLPA Collegiate Bowl and Senior Bowl.
His father, Eric Johnson, was an All-MVFC defensive lineman at Illinois State in 1996 and participated in training camp with the New York Jets in 1997. He played professionally in the CFL, XFL and indoor football league for 10 seasons.
His younger brother, Marcellus, has spent time with the New York Giants and Minnesota Vikings.
Born in Normal, Ill. and raised in Plainfield, Ill.
